Who we are
Redbrick Facilitation is a facilitation and consultancy service operated by Phil Morgan, based in Cornwall, UK. Our website address is: https://redbrick-facilitation.co.uk
What we collect
When you email us, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message: typically your name, your email address, and the details of your enquiry. We use it to reply to you, and for nothing else.
Our contact page also contains an enquiry form. Where that form is active, it captures your name, your email address, the type of session you are interested in, and the body of your message. It additionally passes a one-time anti-spam token, described below, which is discarded on the server once checked and never written to our database.
Analytics
We run Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors move through the site. It records aggregate usage signals such as pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and broad device and browser characteristics. We do not use it to build profiles of named individuals, and we do not upload your name or email address into it.
Cookies and browser storage
Google Analytics sets cookies on your device to distinguish one visit from another. Cloudflare Turnstile, our spam-protection challenge, may set its own cookies or use similar storage in order to tell a genuine visitor from an automated one.
The site also writes a single value to your browser's local storage to remember that you have already passed the site's intro screen, so it is not shown to you repeatedly. That value stays in your browser, is never transmitted to us, and is cleared if you use the "Reset Experience" control in the footer or clear your browser storage.
Sub-processors and third-party services
A small number of external providers process visitor data on our behalf so that the site can run. The complete list is below. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone for advertising or marketing purposes.
Google (Google Analytics 4)
Loads analytics scripts from googletagmanager.com on every page and receives the usage signals described above, including your IP address, from which approximate location is derived. Purpose: website audience measurement.
Cloudflare (Turnstile)
Loads a challenge script from challenges.cloudflare.com on every page. When an enquiry form is submitted, Cloudflare receives signals about your browser and network, including your IP address, and returns a verification token. Our server sends that token back to Cloudflare to confirm it is valid. Purpose: distinguishing human visitors from bots and blocking spam.
Our own PocketBase server
The site itself, its published articles, and any enquiry records are held on a PocketBase instance that we run and control rather than a third-party form service. Web server logs generated by that instance may include your IP address and the pages you requested. Purpose: hosting the website and storing enquiries.
Email delivery
When an enquiry is stored, our server sends a notification message containing your name, your email address, your selected session type, and your message to Phil Morgan's inbox, using the outbound email service configured for the site. Phil's published contact address is a Gmail address, so email you send directly to him is also processed and stored by Google. Purpose: delivering your enquiry so it can be answered.
How your data is used
Anything you send through the form or by email is used purely to read, understand, and answer your enquiry, and to keep a record of the conversation so we can pick it up again if you write back. It is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone beyond the providers listed above.
Data retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as they remain useful for the purpose they were sent for, and are removed once that is no longer the case. You can ask us to delete your records sooner at any point.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it erased, and to object to how we are using it. To exercise any of these, please contact us and we will action your request.
Changes to this policy
If the services we rely on change, we will revise this page and update the date shown below. We would encourage you to check back here occasionally if this matters to you.
